The UFV is a member of the
RIU-RC Regnum Christi International Universities
which also includes universities from Mexico, Chile, the United States and Italy.
The mission of the UFV is to further develop the international collaboration between Catholic higher education institutions, while ensuring the adhesion of each institutions to its own institutional values.

The UFV is also part of The Hague Network (2017)
a group of seven universities which have established a strategic alliance to reinforce their international presence.
The Hague Network seeks, above all, to improve the general quality of education and to broaden student’s perspectives, preparing them for a globalised world, particularly in its professional aspects. It is essential to embrace change in education through technology, which can enhance and expand on traditional academic practices.
