The Applied, Connected, Entrepreneurial, and Engaged European University (ACE²-EU) is an ambitious alliance uniting nine universities across Europe to address global challenges through collaboration, innovation and inclusion. Founded on shared values such as equality, sustainability, and solidarity, ACE²-EU aims to drive societal transformation while promoting the core principles of the European Union. 

A Shared Mission 

ACE²-EU is dedicated to equipping students, staff, researchers, and external stakeholders with the tools to address future challenges such as digital transformation, green transitions and socio-economic issues. Through challenge-based and work-based methodologies, the alliance fosters flexible and innovative learning experiences supported by multidisciplinary teams of students, faculty, and industry partners. 

The alliance’s mission is implemented through its key operational units: 

• APP Factory: Developing student-centered learning opportunities, from short programs to full degrees. 

• ARIES Incubator: Stimulating joint research, fostering entrepreneurship, and building a thriving research community. 

• SPACE Centre: Promoting cultural awareness and engaging in service-to-society projects. 

• e-Campus: A digital platform supporting shared resources, knowledge, and collaboration across the alliance.

The nine ACE²-EU members represent a wide spectrum of university types, including research institutions, universities of applied sciences, and cultural or medical universities.
