The 'Level Up' Alumni Society
The Level Up student society is a global community of students with a shared interest in video games. The society serves as a hub for students from diverse academic backgrounds to connect and engage in a shared community. It provides a platform for knowledge exchange, learning, and exploration of new interests within the field of entertainment.
The space that Level Up creates is a convergence point that is not only based on the world of video games but also on any kind of interactive and table leisure. We endeavor to ensure that students not only gain a comprehensive understanding of this leisure activity but also learn to integrate it with their academic objectives.
Level Up offers a variety of programs, including workshops, masterclasses, game sessions, leagues, and solidarity tournaments, with the objective of fostering interaction and collaboration between students from different academic programs at the university. With a clear objective: to facilitate the discovery and growth of each student, to foster collaboration between degrees, and to reinforce the personal values that distinguish the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria as a unique institution.
While it is important to maintain a healthy competitive spirit, Level Up is also an enjoyable experience that provides opportunities to share both successes and challenges, facilitate team building, and, most importantly, connect with like-minded individuals.
The experience of being part of Level Up
My internship at Level Up has provided me with invaluable experience in event organization and networking within the video game industry. Furthermore, I have had the chance to resolve challenging situations in unfamiliar contexts, developing professional skills that I will bring to bear in my future career.
The solidarity tournament was a highly gratifying experience, particularly in light of the remarkable success it achieved. The months of preparation with individuals from other grades have yielded impressive results, exceeding our initial expectations in terms of the collected amount. It was extremely gratifying to view the video the family sent us, expressing their immense gratitude for our efforts. Another successful event I was involved in was the Jornada Lúdica. This was a day dedicated to people from different grades participating in recreational and educational activities. It was gratifying to see that all the effort invested in the project was worthwhile and that the attendees enjoyed the event.
My experience as an intern at Level Up has been extremely positive. If I had the opportunity to work at Level Up again, I would certainly accept it.
