ABOUT THE ALTIUS FOUNDATION
The Altius Foundation complements the mission of the Francisco de Vitoria University and shares its experience and trajectory of more than 20 years in the development of projects to promote social action to support the most vulnerable groups of society.
It works to aid people and families who are at risk of social exclusion due to lack of employment, improving their social and training conditions with the aim of achieving their insertion into the labor market.
Its mission is carried out through training projects for employment, personalized plans for joining the labor market, job orientation and participation in job search networks, as well as support in basic food needs for the most needy families referred by Social Services.
Another of its activities is the 1 Kilo de Ayuda (1 Kilo of Help) program which, for more than 25 years, has channeled the charity of people who purchase one of its donation cards in supermarkets throughout Spain.
UFV collaborates with the Altius Foundation through various initiatives, including the Charity Payroll, which allows employees who wish to do so to support the Altius Foundation’s projects.
UFV SOLIDARITY PAYROLL
UFV STAFF AND ALTIUS FOUNDATION JOIN FORCES TO HELP FAMILIES IN A SITUATION OF SOCIAL VULNERABILITY
This initiative aims to raise donations for the support program for unemployed families without resources developed by the Altius Foundation in Madrid.
Through this project we can offer them comprehensive support so that they can enter the job market and overcome the risk of social exclusion they are going through.

Which families does the Charity Payroll go to?
These are unemployed people with economic, social and family circumstances that make their access to the labor market even more difficult:
- Women bearing family burdens alone.
- Immigrants without family support networks.
- Long-term unemployed people.
- Young people without resources, who have dropped out of school or with a low level of education.
- Families facing eviction or living with disabled dependents.
What is provided to these families through the Charity Payroll?
- Support to cover basic food needs with the delivery of a free weekly purchase made by the families themselves in the self-service solidarity market 1 Kilo de Ayuda.
- Personalized labor market insertion plans: Job orientation, psychological support, follow-up, employment exchange.
- Vocational training with internships in companies, training in socio-labor skills for employment.
How can you join the UFV Charity Payroll?
Registration for the UFV Charity Payroll is available on the Employee Porta for all those who wish to collaborate by deducting 12 euros per month from their paycheck on a completely voluntary basis.
