Our Quality System ensures that all applicable laws and regulations are fully complied with, and that the highest standards of rigor are maintained throughout the academic system. Our primary objective is to ensure that the academic results are supported by a commitment to excellence in the Undergraduate and Master's degrees. We guarantee academic quality in the following way.

RESULTS OF RESEARCH ACTIVITY 2022  

  • 520 publications indexed in SCOPUS, of which 402 were published in Open Access (77.31%).
  • 377 JCR publications (SSCI and SCIE), of which 225 were published in the first quartile Q1 (66.96%).
  • 27 externally funded research projects.
  • 265 book chapters and 6 books published.
  • 7 new patent applications, four national, two European and one international, which join the 3 active patents with UFV participation: “Method for the identification of wine yeast strains from must samples”; “Worldfly virtual simulator”; “Use of breast milk exosomes as a vehicle for radioisotopes for the diagnosis and treatment of neoplasms”.
  • 13 doctoral theses defended at the International Doctoral School: 9 in the program in Biotechnology, Medicine and Biosanitary Sciences, and 4 in the program in Humanities: History, Philosophy and Aesthetics. The 13 theses were graded with outstanding and 9 of them also obtained the Cum laude mention.
  • 5 grants for research personnel contracts from the Community of Madrid: 3 predoctoral grants, 1 postdoctoral and 1 for research assistants.

  • 34 UFV grants for international mobility for research.
  • 138 UFV grants for attendance at conferences.
