Do you have doubts about the university dual degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and Physiotherapy?

Why is UFV the best option to study CAFYD and Physiotherapy?
Your classes will always be hands-on and many of them will take place in the recovery pool, the Clinical Simulation Center, the fitness area or the electrotherapy room. You will also visit clinics, hospitals and sports centers to see real cases firsthand.
You will do your internships at institutions such as Atlético de Madrid, CB Estudiantes, and health centers such as Clínica La Luz and Puerta de Hierro. You will rotate through different departments to get hands-on experience in both sports and clinical settings.
You will learn with seminars on pilates, kinesiology tape or Escuela Terol and with conferences with experts such as Óscar Ortega del Río, physical trainer of Atlético de Madrid; Teresa Perales, Paralympic swimming champion; or Miriam Gutiérrez, boxing champion.
Your professors will be top experts in their field, most of them being active professionals, such as Nuria Mendoza, National Award for Arts and Sciences Applied to Sport, creator of the White Book of Inclusive Sport; María Merino, Jiu-Jitsu World Champion; and Pablo Delgado, author of Diario de un trasplantado (Diary of a transplant patient), among others.
This is the only place where you can learn about the human body in the Anatomical Dissection Room of the School of Medicine, the Surgical Simulation Center and our own Physiotherapy Clinic. Here you will learn how to train to avoid damage and injuries, and how to treat them when they occur.
And the best part! You will live an UNFORGETTABLE experience in a campus full of life and opportunities. You will be able to participate in student societies such as Emprende UFV, the Debate Society or Generación Empresarial, join sports teams and participate in hundreds of events and activities.
You will study alongside renowned sports figures because we are the only university with a talent incubator (UFV Deporte), designed to support high-performance athletes and help them combine their studies with the development of their professional career.
You will have the opportunity to get involved in initiatives such as Sports Week, Runners for Ethiopia and Polar Raid, participate in university soccer, basketball and rugby championships or even create your own project with Emprende UFV.
Internships in health centers and sports institutions
You will complete your compulsory internships in hospitals, clinics, sports institutions and high performance centers such as Atlético de Madrid, CB Estudiantes, Reebook Sport Club, Hospital Puerta de Hierro, Clínica Centro or in the Madrid soccer, judo, tennis and golf federations, among others.

International Agreements
We have over 200 exchange agreements, so you can study at a university in America, Europe or Asia, which will allow you to learn about other ways of working in sport and physiotherapy. Likewise, at the UFV campus you will live with students of different nationalities.
The difference lies in how you treat each person.
At UFV, not only will you learn the best techniques for treating injuries, but also how to care for each person based on their needs. There is a difference in working with an athlete, a pregnant woman or an elderly person. For this reason, you will study humanistic subjects that will allow you to understand the relevance of adapting your approach to each case. This is what makes the difference between an ordinary professional and an excellent professional.
