Your classes will be held in our own communication building, considered one of the best in Europe, which has television sets, radio studios, editing and post-production rooms, video game development lab, WACOM room, photography lab, newspaper editing room, etc. In addition, you can borrow state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment to carry out your projects (photo cameras, television cameras, audio equipment, etc.).
Internships in national and international companies
You will carry out your professional internship in the best media, production companies and communication agencies such as EFE and Europa Press, Atresmedia, COPE, Globomedia, etc. This internship will allow you to enter the working world, be part of a journalistic team and develop the skills of your profession.
International Agreements
We have more than 200 exchange agreements, so you can study at a university in America, Europe or Asia, where you will learn about other audiovisual environments and broaden your horizons. In addition, you will live on the UFV campus with students of different nationalities.

A journalist has a deep sense of responsibility to society, as his or her work informs and shapes public opinion. Faced with the enormous challenge of communicating something valuable, based on truth and that transforms society, you will take take in humanistic training and social action with which you will acquire a deep look at the world. This will make you an agent of change, in demand by the media, who sees beyond what others see.
I would recommend studying at UFV because the training given to students is not only theoretical, but especially practical. Despite its growth, the university has maintained the idiosyncrasies of a small institution, with close professors and a friendly atmosphere.
The UFV awakened my curiosity about the world around me and taught me the importance of doubt as a tool to always seek the truth, which is essential in my profession.
Studying here and, now, teaching at this university, gives me a lot on a personal level, because of the values that all the people who are part of this great family transmit.
At UFV I have lived multiple volunteer experiences and I could not imagine that this was going to change both my university career and my life. Thanks to UFV for ‘making life’ also outside the classroom.
