Since its foundation, UFV has been an expert in the humanities. For us, humanistic training is at the center and that is why we incorporate it in all our curricula. In 1994 we launched the University Master’s Degree in Humanities and, years later, both the PhD and the university degree, thus covering all stages. Aware that society needs humanists more than ever to improve the world, we are committed to training the best people with an exceptional teaching staff in this field.

We have more than 3900 agreements with companies and institutions so that you can do your internship in the sector you are interested in and apply the humanities in a real work environment. In addition, it is an opportunity to achieve future employment since 85% of our students receive a job offer before finishing their internship period.

We have over 200 exchange agreements, so you can study at a university in America, Europe or Asia – an experience that will open doors for you in the future. You will also live on campus with students of different nationalities and have access to the Language Center.
