SPANISH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE - INTENSIVE SUMMER COURSE

From August 26th to September 6th 2024 (4 ECTS)

Schedule: 10:00 am – 1:30 pm from Monday to Friday. Language and communication: all levels from A1 to B2 (according to CEFR).
Culture: art, gastronomy, festivals, traditions…
4 ECTS credits (subject to acceptance by your university).
3 hours of class per day (2h language and 1h for culture) from Monday to Friday (10:00am -1:30pm).
4 Visits include: A Walking Tour of Madrid of Austrias, Reina Sofía Museum, Prado Museum and a Walking Tour of Retiro Park.
Price: €200

FOUR-MONTH SPANISH COURSES

FREE SPANISH COURSES FOR UFV EXCHANGE STUDENTS

It is recommended that students intending to take courses in Spanish have attained a B1 level (CEFR) prior to their arrival at our university. To assist with language proficiency, international students may enroll in a complimentary Spanish course twice weekly. Prior to the commencement of the course, participants are required to complete a level assessment.

First Semester: Spanish as a Foreign Language I

First Semester: Spanish as a Foreign Language II

  • Level: three levels. From A2 to B2 (according to CEFR)
  • Duration: per semester.
  • Number of hours:  4 hours per week.
  • ECTS:  6 ECTS
  • Price: free for exchange students.
  • Timetable:  adapted to the rest of the subjects of the Degree program

SPANISH PHYSIOTHERAPY

This program is designed for international students pursuing a full degree at the university. This program is designed for students of the Degree in Physiotherapy who do not have a certified level B2 (CEFR) of Spanish. It is recommended that they enroll in an annual Spanish course to attain the requisite level of proficiency to successfully complete their degree.

SUBJECT: SPANISH FOR FOREIGNERS (88034). Undergraduate Students

  • Level: B1-B2 (according to CEFR).
  • Duration: whole academic year
    • First term: from September 6th to December 12th, 2021.
    • Second term: from January 17th to April 30th, 2022.
  • Number of hours: 30 hours per term.
  • Price:  €480
  • Timetable: 
    • Tuesdays from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm

DIPLOMA OF SPANISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (DELE)

The Universidad Francisco de Vitoria is an officially designated DELE examination center. The Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) are official qualifications, accredited by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain, which attest to the level of proficiency and mastery of the Spanish language.

PREPARATION COURSES FOR THE DIPLOMA OF SPANISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE OF THE INSTITUTO CERVANTES (DELE)

  • Levels:  A2 and B1 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
  • Familiarization with the exam structure (test, tasks, grading criteria, etc.).
  • Development of strategies for exam success.

Practice and repetition of activities and exercises of the four skills:

  •  Reading comprehension test
  •  Listening comprehension test
  •  Written expression and interaction test
  •  Oral expression and interaction test

The course concludes with a comprehensive examination of the corresponding level.
