Main lines of research
Transnational biomedical research focused on the study of cardiovascular pathologies. Use of animal models of atherosclerosis, arterial hypertension, restenosis, abdominal aortic aneurysms and myocardial infarction, for the characterization at the molecular level of the mechanisms that affect cardiovascular remodeling during the onset and progression of these pathologies.
