OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATIONS MEFP-UIMP for Grants for English language immersion courses (graduates with a master's degree in teaching and teachers).
Registration period: from June 20 to July 10, 2024 (both inclusive).
Participant Requirements:
- Those who have been awarded the a degree of Teaching in any of the specialties in any of the following academic years: 2022-2023, 2021-2022 or 2020-2021 with an average grade in the academic transcript of at least 7.50 points.
- Those who have obtained a master’s degree in Teacher Training of Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching, with an average grade in the master’s of at least 7.50 points in any of the following academic years: 2022-2023, 2021-2022 or 2020-2021.

Santander Scholarships/Financial Aid Program, call for applications 2024-2025. Application deadline from April 30, 2024 to October 31, 2024 (both inclusive).
Resolution of the Rector of the Francisco de Vitoria University of Madrid, which calls for scholarships under the "Santander Scholarships / Financial Aid" Program, call 2024-2025 for students enrolled in official undergraduate and graduate studies in the academic year 2024/2025.
The Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, in accordance with the terms of the agreement signed with Banco Santander, announces scholarships as established in the General Terms and Conditions of the “Santander Scholarships / Financial Aid” Program, call for applications 2024-2025.
The aim of the Program is to facilitate access to higher education during the 2024-2025 academic year to those students with the best academic records at the national level in any undergraduate and graduate course.
A total of 8 scholarships are offered, distributed in 2 groups: Group 1. – Newly admitted students: 3 of the 8 scholarships offered. Newly admitted students are considered to be students who have entered university studies for the first time in the 2024-2025 academic year. Group 2. – Students continuing university studies: 5 of the 8 scholarships offered. This group will be composed of students enrolled in a course other than the first year of undergraduate and graduate studies in the 2024-2025 academic year. If not all the scholarships are awarded in one of the groups, they will be accumulated in the other group.
The amount of each of the scholarships will be one thousand (1,000) euros.
Students of the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria enrolled in the 2024-2025 academic year in official undergraduate and graduate studies may participate in this call for applications. In order to allocate grants for the 2024-2025 call, the University will prioritize excellence through the students’ academic records. In turn, the following criteria may be taken into account:
- The designated student must have one of the best academic records in the academic year immediately prior to the call for applications. In the case of first year undergraduate students, the university entrance exam grade may be taken into account. This requirement may be weighted by the University according to the area of knowledge.
- If necessary, priority will be given to students who meet all or some of the following situations:
- Have been beneficiaries of a scholarship from the Ministry of Education in the previous year.
- Have a disability equal to or greater than 33%.
- Are students with specific educational support needs, or duly accredited special educational needs.
- Have not been beneficiaries of aid, scholarship or discount UFV in the call 2024-2025 of this same university.
Candidates who meet the disability criterion must submit to the University Appendix A entitled “Data Protection Clause associated with the “Financial Aid” Program, Call for Applications 2024/2025. This Appendix will be delivered either by the student himself/herself in person at the Student Aid Service or in a sealed envelope sent by certified mail to said department. - Students from other Autonomous Communities who, due to the fact of studying at UFV, are obliged to have accommodation in the Community of Madrid through rented housing, rooms, student residences, halls of residence, etc., must, in addition to complying with the rest of the requirements of the above-mentioned regulations, must, in addition to complying with the rest of the established criteria, present the appropriate proof of residence outside their usual place of residence in order to objectively assess their personal situation.
- The University, in addition to the criteria set forth in this document, may take into account any other criteria it deems appropriate for the allocation of grants, provided that they do not affect the criteria established in this call for applications.
In order to be a beneficiary of the scholarship, it is essential not to have any warnings, reprimands or disciplinary sanctions in accordance with UFV regulations, as well as to be up to date with the corresponding payments, both for the current and previous academic year. In the event that the beneficiary of the scholarship does not complete his or her Bachelor’s or Master’s studies at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, or leaves after having received the scholarship amount, he or she must return the money for the Program to the University through the account into which the original payment was made. The University will be in charge of awarding this scholarship to the next beneficiary who fulfills the necessary requirements to obtain it under identical conditions. In the event that the university has to collect especially sensitive personal data from the candidates, including any certificate or documentation that the university deems necessary, it will do so in accordance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data in force at any given time. Under these circumstances, the university will not provide Banco Santander with any personal data of candidates or documentation of any kind.
To apply for the scholarships, students must register on the Santander Bank platform “Becas Santander Estudios/Ayuda Económica” through the website.
The application period is from April 30, 2024 until October 31, 2024 (both included). In the registration process, applicants must provide their email account. Any communication or information related to this call will be sent to that account. Any application that has not been made through registration on the Banco Santander platform will not be accepted. The submission of the application implies the acceptance of the rules of this call and its resolution, which will be final, and the waiver of any kind of claim. The Universidad Francisco de Vitoria reserves the right to modify or rectify any of the Terms and Conditions of the Program call for applications, partially or totally at any time, and may even suspend, postpone or cancel the same, in response to an objective and duly justified cause, and with the aim of preserving the social impact pursued with this call for applications, informing the candidates about the modifications made through the web page.
An Evaluation Committee will be formed, chaired by the Director General of Institutional Relations or the person they delegate, and comprised of the Director of University Guidance and Information and the Coordinator of the Study Aid Service, who will act as secretary. The Evaluation Committee will verify the fulfillment of the requirements and may request the applicants to correct possible faults or errors or to provide the information and/or documentation it deems necessary for the proper evaluation of the applications. The resolution with the awarding of the scholarships will be communicated personally to the beneficiary students.
In order to be a beneficiary of this scholarship, students must be registered in the Program through the web page, preferably with the university email address. The assignment of the scholarships to the students will be made by the Universities until December 20, 2024 at the latest. The beneficiary students must expressly accept in the following 7 calendar days from the award of the grant through the Platform. In the event that the acceptance of the scholarship is not recorded within the established period, it will be understood that the scholarship is waived. In the event that any beneficiary does not communicate their acceptance of the Scholarship or grant through the Platform, the Universities will have a period of 7 calendar days to reassign them to other students who meet the requirements. Once reassigned, the new Beneficiaries will have a period of 7 calendar days to communicate their acceptance through the Platform.
On January 11, 2025, the Program will be closed and the University will begin to make the scholarship payments to the beneficiaries of the program by depositing them in the account opened in the name of the student at Banco Santander S.A.
The data protection policy applicable to this call for applications is set out in the Privacy Statement document published on the Platform.
Once the Program and the corresponding scholarships or financial aid have been assigned by the participating Universities, they will provide Santander, through the Santander Scholarships platform, with detailed information about them, as well as any other information related to the Program and its implementation that may be required by any of them for proper monitoring. The participating Universities will be responsible for the effective monitoring of the Program, in accordance with their usual procedures, and for preparing a document with the monitoring information that Santander may require at the end of the call for applications.
