PRIVACY POLICY
EXTENDED INFORMATION ON THE PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Responsible for the processing: The Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (hereinafter UFV) is located at Ctra. M-515 Pozuelo-Majadahonda, Km. 1.800, 28223 Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid. This entity is also responsible for processing any accompanying documentation provided by the individual in question.

Need for processing: The submission of data is voluntary, failure to provide the necessary information and supporting documentation on the Admission Application form will result in the applicant being unable to participate in the UFV admission process.
Data subject to processing: The categories of data subject to processing are: basic data, identification data, academic data and contact data.
Legitimacy and purposes of processing: In accordance with the legal basis of consent and/or pre-contractual measures, UFV will process the data of the interested party for the following purposes: to attend to and assess the application for admission and the accompanying documentation, and to carry out the necessary administrative steps to verify compliance with the requirements; to communicate to the interested party whether the application has been accepted or rejected; and to send the interested party any type of communication related to the application and the admission process.
Addressees: The personal data of the interested party may be communicated to collaborating entities. The internal recipients at UFV will be the Admissions Department, the Student Secretary’s Office and, if applicable, the Residence Hall. Likewise, said data may be shared with the departments corresponding to the University Degree, Cycle or any other academic program in which the interested party is applying for admission, as well as those University departments with which the Admissions Department must coordinate in order to guarantee the correct management of the admission process.
In addition, in order to comply with legal obligations, the Personal Data of the interested party may be communicated to the Public Administrations, Courts and Tribunals with competence in the matter for reasons of control, registration and inspection.
In any case, the data of the person concerned may be processed on behalf of entities that provide services to UFV (called data processors), by signing data processing contracts and following the instructions of UFV with due guarantees of confidentiality and security.
Transfers: The data of the data subject will not be transferred to third countries or international organizations.
Retention: The data of the data subject will be retained for as long as the legitimate purposes and bases of the processing are maintained and for the legal periods required for the fulfillment of obligations and attention of possible liabilities.
Rights: The data subject may exercise the rights of access, rectification, deletion, limitation, opposition, portability and the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, by written request addressed to the General Secretariat of UFV at the postal address: Ctra. M-515 Pozuelo-Majadahonda Km. 1.800, 28223 Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid) and/or at the e-mail address: dpd@ufv.es , indicating the right being exercised. In addition, the interested party has the right to file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority Spanish Data Protection Agency, C/ Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es, telephone: +34 900 293 183, in particular, when they consider that the exercise of any of their rights has not been satisfied.
