The library of the UFV offers the following services to the university community:

- 476 reading places distributed in a general reading room, 2 study rooms and 9 group work rooms
The library has more than 102,264 volumes, 4052 DVDs, 2308 CDs, 152 video games, more than 120,000 electronic books, subscriptions to more than 140 specialized journals of the highest prestige and 25 databases. Specifically, there are 4,881 books related to the various subjects covered in the PhD in Humanities, and subscriptions to 20 journals and 4 databases in the area of humanities.
It holds since August 2006 the Company Registration Certificate and the right to use the AENOR mark, which evidences the conformity of our Quality Management System with the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 standard.
- European Documentation Center It belongs to the information network of the European Commission, Europe Direct with 32 EDCs in Spain and more than 300 throughout the EU. The EDC promotes and supports the study and research on European integration, its strategies and policies. It offers information search services on European topics; interlibrary loan with the Commission’s library; dissemination of research criteria in the framework of EU calls, good research practices and partner search. The EDC specifically supports research in the humanities by connecting its objectives with European programs and its open science and research data management approaches.
- Robert Schuman InstituteTo contribute to a better understanding of the European Union and its integration and enlargement processes from a multidisciplinary approach. The Institute produces periodicals and monographs. It offers other Ibero-American universities and institutions a permanent information, consultation and documentation service on European issues through the REDECA information network. It organizes trips, congresses, seminars and conferences on different areas of European culture open to students and teachers.
- Research room18 study stations, each with its own table, cupboard and shelves, for the exclusive use of doctoral students. It is located in module 4 of the central building.
- Office of Digital Transformation It belongs to the Vice Rectorate for Quality and Organizational Transformation, manages and maintains the university’s IT resources (teaching spaces, faculty and administrative and service staff computers…), also including other resources such as the Virtual Classroom, University Portal, or the academic management software and RAPI software
