You will learn with an online methodology and practical classes
You will be able to study online with the Canvas digital platform, used by universities such as Harvard, Oxford or Stanford. For the practical part, you will visit the campus one Saturday a month to acquire the competences of the Dietitian-Nutritionist recognized by the ICDA (International Confederation of Dietetic Associations) so that you can practice this REGULATED profession.

You will study 350 hours of practice in a concentrated manner, in which you will discover how nutrition influences health at the UFV Clinical Simulation Center, you will see real patients in rooms with Gesell chambers and you will master the most important software in the sector.
Only at UFV will you have the opportunity to see firsthand how a dietitian-nutritionist works at the Nutrition Service of the CAIF (Center for Psychological and Nutritional Support at UFV), a health center located on campus.
You will learn with an innovative, transformative and rigorous syllabus with which you will delve into the latest trends in the sector: nutritional genomics, immunonutrition, chrononutrition and high-performance sports nutrition, among others.
Your professors will be experts in food, dietetics, nutritional epidemiology, sports, entrepreneurship, etc. and will be available to you through the Canvas digital platform. And, of course, you can come to the campus whenever you want and request an in-person tutorial with them.
You will carry out professional internships in two areas: in the food industry, in companies such as Danone, Campofrío or Calidad Pascual; and in hospitals and health centers such as Hospital 12 de Octubre, Hospital Ruber Internacional and Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro.
You will be able to combine your studies with other university degrees in the Biosanitary area or Experimental Sciences such as Pharmacy, Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Biotechnology or Biomedicine. Internships in companies and hospitals
In the third year, you will do your internship in companies in the food industry such as Danone, Calidad Pascual, Campofrío, Grupo Siro, Lactalis, Coca-Cola or Tetra Pak. And, in the fourth year, you will do your internship in public and private health centers such as Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, Hospital Ruber Internacional, Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro and Hospital Beata María Ana, among others.
International Agreements
We have numerous exchange agreements, so you can study at a university in America, Europe or Asia, where you will discover different models and trends in Nutrition. In addition, you will live on the UFV campus with students of different nationalities.
