Promote the research and the intervention on the forgiveness in different environments (school, family, therapeutic, social) at national and international level.

To fulfill this mission, the Institute proposes the following general objectives:

• To promote lines of research related to forgiveness from different disciplines.
• To promote and participate in events that disseminate research and teaching on forgiveness and related topics.
• To encourage the creation of networks and international collaboration, both in research and teaching related to forgiveness from different areas of knowledge.

The UFV Institute of Forgiveness is committed to fostering an interdisciplinary academic perspective that is free from ideological constraints, both from the reductionism of instrumental reason and from a humanism that is detached from reality and scientific inquiry.
