Communication building
This facility houses six digital radio studios and four television sets dedicated to teaching, which are also available to students. The building is equipped with classrooms and a sewing room and serves as the headquarters of the Mirada 21 group, which integrates the UFV media.
Drawing and Analysis
The Faculty of Communication is proud to offer students access to the most advanced university facilities in Europe. Our facilities include IMAC laboratories, a design and advertising agency, photography and television studios, a WACOM room, a drawing workshop, an engraving studio, a fashion classroom, a project classroom, radio studios, editing and post-production rooms, and a video game development laboratory.
Digital Radio Studios
The six studios are equipped with a call center and technical control area. The studios are equipped with AEQ digital desks. Central control is managed through the Audioplus system, the software used in the country’s major radio stations.
The main studio is that of Onda Universitaria, the radio station of the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. This digital studio is prepared to broadcast on FM and via streaming and podcasting over the Internet. It broadcasts live programming that can be heard through the following website: www.ondauniversitaria.es
Television Studios
The building is equipped with four sets, each with its own digital production control and warehouse. Each set is equipped with a chroma key system, as well as a range of props and materials for set construction. These facilities are equipped with the most modern systems currently available on the market, allowing students to create content with the same systems and quality as any television channel.
Fashion Design Classroom
The program allows students to exercise their creativity and develop their own fashion designs, which they will later present on the Emerge UFV catwalk.
Avid Classroom
We offer audiovisual editing, editing, and post-production services in all existing formats.
Animática Classroom
Dedicated to classical and digital animation.
IMAC Classroom
This multipurpose room is equipped with graphic editing and image processing software.
Wacom Lab
The facility boasts state-of-the-art computers with the requisite specifications for graphics, content creation, illustration, and other essential digital tasks.
Digital video game creation laboratory
The new technology offers enhanced capabilities for the creation of video games. The classroom is fully automated and networked.
Virtual Reality Laboratory
It has different graphic engines to speed up the rendering of jobs.
Equipment Loans
The University offers a lending center for audiovisual material for the production of television and film formats. The lending center provides students with a variety of equipment, including photographic and video cameras, lenses of different sizes, tripods, preview monitors, audio recorders, microphones, card readers, lighting screens, and makeup products.
Fine Arts Workshop
The facility is equipped with all the necessary resources and spaces to support students in the development of their artistic creations. The facility includes a demonstration classroom, a natural drawing classroom, an engraving classroom, and multiple workspaces for using diverse materials.
