Educational project
The Faculty of Experimental Sciences at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria is a leading educational institution in the training of a new generation of scientists who demonstrate an understanding of the importance of solidarity, knowledge of human beings and their cultural context, and the ability to apply their professional skills in a way that respects the dignity of the individual.
Research project
One of the Faculty’s primary objectives is to conduct research. Our objective is to pursue scientific truth. To this end, the faculty encourages and supports quality research, providing teachers, researchers, and students with the resources and guidance necessary to integrate research into their daily work.

RESEARCH
The Faculty of Experimental Sciences conducts research in a framework of inter/multidisciplinarity across a range of fields, including Biotechnology, Biomedicine, Pharmacy, Engineering, Medicine, and Biosanitary Sciences. Our approach is to seek an integrated vision of our projects from all perspectives.
To this end, the UFV encourages collaboration between professors and researchers from different faculties, as well as with research groups from national and international institutions and research centers. Such collaboration allows us to exchange knowledge and human capital, which is beneficial for all parties involved.
PROFESSORSHIP
The Faculty of Experimental Sciences is comprised of over 80% individuals with doctoral qualifications. Our professors are subject matter experts and are committed to providing students with an excellent and comprehensive education. Our faculty boasts a group of esteemed professors with established research and teaching careers. These individuals continue to be promoted by the faculty through their active research and teaching innovation projects.

UFV Laboratories
Our laboratories are equipped with the latest technology, including flow cytometry, multiphoton microscopy, cell and microbial cultures, molecular analysis equipment, and mass spectrometry.
EXTERNAL AND INSTITUTIONAL RELATIONS
External relations are a core component of our educational mission, as they provide invaluable opportunities for students and faculty to enhance their training through collaborative meetings and joint learning with diverse institutions. From the faculty, we facilitate this collaboration by forming partnerships with companies, research centers, universities, foundations, and associations that align with our mission and educational objectives. The Faculty supports the following initiatives:
a) Student, researcher, and teacher mobility.
b) Internationalization of educational programs, including English language training, Erasmus programmes, and specialized programs.
c) Educational collaboration for high-quality external practices.
d) Bilateral exchanges of researchers between institutions that promote scientific collaboration.
