DRAWING ACADEMY

At the Drawing Academy of the Fine Arts Studio you will find the space where you can learn the secrets of realistic drawing working directly using natural models and maximizing your skills.

What are classes like?

You will follow a program of practical exercises during the first 3 weeks, ranging from basic to sufficiently complex still lifes. In the fourth week you will work on life drawings of the human figure.

The program you will follow is progressive in difficulty, regardless of when you join the academy, so as you progress through the phase you are working on you will move on to the next with the support of a tutor.

You will learn...

FITTING
Synthesis, geometrization and analysis of form, study of proportion and movement through graphite and pencil.

The study of proportion and movement enables us to create realistic models and successful compositions through the first step of drawing guidelines. Guidelines are the reduction of a drawing to simple forms and almost always geometric, following the measures of proportion previously taken, analyzing the form from the synthetic to the analytical.

Study of chiaroscuro and color Planning and volumetric analysis through charcoal, chalk and pastel techniques. Chiaroscuro involves mastering the representation of light through drawing, gray values and color. These must be studied separately to be understood and to be able to put them into practice together.
