UFV ALUMNI DISCOUNT

In order to encourage academic excellence, the university offers a 30% discount on the cost of the monthly fees for the second and subsequent degrees to those who already hold an UFV undergraduate degree.

Both new students and those already enrolled in previous years will be contacted twice to proceed with their request
  • 1st call: from May 6 to June 30, 2024 or
  • 2nd call: from July 10 to 25, 2024
Requirements

This policy applies to students who have completed an undergraduate degree at UFV and subsequently decide to pursue a second degree.

Documentation to be provided

Please provide a photocopy of the degree issued by the UFV or proof of payment of the degree fees.

Amount

Please be advised that a 30% discount will be applied to the monthly payment amount. Please note that this offer does not apply to the initial tuition payment.

Procedure

Please be advised that all applications, both for the first and subsequent years, must be made through the University Portal. Please note that this discount is not automatic and must be applied for each year in which the second university degree is taken.

It is a prerequisite for obtaining this that the requirements set out (recipients, documentation, deadlines, etc.) are met. In the event that an applicant’s academic performance is deemed insufficient by the scholarship committee following the submission of relevant documentation, this may result in the application being declined.

Renewal

Please note that this discount is not automatic. Therefore, students who wish to benefit from it during the courses that make up their second or subsequent university degrees must expressly request the discount on an annual basis through the University Portal, and always within the established deadlines.

Insufficient academic performance, as determined by the scholarship committee following the submission of relevant documentation, may result in the application being declined.
