ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS FROM THE LOCAL AREA
Universidad Francisco de Vitoria is dedicated to environmental stewardship and has entered into collaborative agreements with various municipal authorities in the region.
Each year, Excellence Scholarships are awarded to students who have obtained a minimum score of 9 points in the ordinary call of the University Access Qualification (CAU).
The scholarship will consist of the exemption of 90% of the registration fee with the exception of the initial registration fee and, if applicable, the reservation fee. Excluded from this call are the degrees in Medicine and Dentistry.
It can be applied for in all courses except the last course of each degree, for which there is the possibility of applying for a Honor Credit (in case of financial need) or some of our discounts (in case of meeting the requirements of these).

Requirements
- To have completed the Baccalaureate in the 2023-2024 academic year.
- To pass the EvAU in the 1st exam session of 2024.
- To have obtained a minimum average grade of 9.00 in the CAU (ordinary call).
- That the applicant’s family domicile is located in one of the municipalities with which there is an agreement.
Deadline: from June 15 to 30, 2024, both included, (there is no possibility of application outside these dates).
Procedure: online through the Applicant Portal, Scholarships and Grants section. The option “SCHOLARSHIPS BY ACADEMIC REPORT FOR STUDENTS FROM THE LOCAL AREA” must be requested, and the Town Hall for which the application is being made must be chosen. For students newly admitted in 2024-2025 the scholarships are awarded based on the CAU grade (average final grade between the grade of the Baccalaureate and the general phase of the EvAU,) and the number of vacancies per City Council. In case of a tie in the CAU grade, the academic record of the Baccalaureate will be valued. Documentation required for the evaluation:
- Certificate of census registration in force and family, with a minimum of 6 months old.
- Grades obtained in Bachillerato (completed in course 2023-2024).
- Card of the CAU ordinary call of 2024.
In order for the student’s file to be evaluated by the Scholarship Committee, the complete documentation must be attached to the online application before June 30, 2024.
The awarding of the Academic Record Scholarship in the first year for students from local councils does not automatically renew the scholarship in the following years. It must be expressly requested every year within the established deadlines and through the Portal Universitario.
This is to inform students from municipalities in the area who benefited from scholarships based on academic record in previous years that renewal applications are now being accepted.
Students who have obtained this scholarship in previous years must:
- Expressly request in due time and form their renewal application by marking the City Hall for which they obtained the scholarship in previous years.
- Pass ALL subjects enrolled and obtain at least (in ordinary or extraordinary call) a weighted average grade* of at least:
- 8.5 for Dual Degrees, Degrees of the Faculty of Experimental Sciences and Degrees of the Higher Polytechnic School.
- 9.00 for the rest of the degrees.
In case of doubt about renewal criteria for students enrolled in years prior to 2023-2024, please consult becas@ufv.es
*In the event that a degree or double degree comprises an official degree and a supplementary degree, the subjects of both degrees will be included in the calculation of the weighted average grade.
Deadline: from May 6 to June 30, 2024 or from July 10 to July 25, 2024
Procedure: online through the University Portal (Scholarships and Grants section).
- The renewal of all scholarships, grants and discounts is not automatic, it must be requested within the established deadlines and channel.
- Please be advised that the renewal application does not require the attachment of documentation related to academic results. The Study Aid Service will verify this on its own initiative.
- Failure to submit a renewal application by the established deadline will be considered a waiver.
- In the event that a student fails to pass all enrolled subjects or fails to achieve the minimum grade point average required for renewal, the scholarship will be forfeited and cannot be recovered. Furthermore, the student will not be eligible for any other academic financial assistance.
- This scholarship is only available to students who have obtained it in their first year of studies.
