CENTER FOR
ACTIVE LISTENING
ACTIVITIES
- RESEARCH – Our main lines of research focus on:
- Active listening as a key element and starting point to reach a conscious decision making and an expansion of the learning capacity.
- Transformative systems and spaces, especially in the educational field.
- Key elements for personal, group, organizational and social mobilization.
- Design and development of analysis and reflection systems that allow visualizing the data narrative as a learning and discovery experience
- CO-CREATION
At the Active Listening Center we collaborate with other teams on projects of diverse nature, but with a common denominator: listening to others and to oneself. Our work methodology is illustrated in the following model:
Listening: The first phase of any project begins with a pre-diagnosis of the reality in which we are going to work. Once we have listened to this reality, we can elaborate a diagnosis that will allow us to design a listening dynamic for the next phase.
Co-create: In this phase, the agents involved work together in a co-creative listening dynamic to achieve the proposed objective. Some of the objectives we have worked on are: conflict management, team cohesion, learner experience, improvement plan design, etc.
Integrated Intelligence: The key element that allows the cogs to turn is the ability of people to deploy a capacity to connect and integrate what they know from their experience (past) with what reality is telling them (present) and what is challenging them (future). At the Active Listening Center we accompany people during the process so that they can develop their integrated intelligence.
Deliver: Every listening dynamic ends with an action plan proposed by the people involved. What now? What will be the next steps to achieve the objectives? At the Active Listening Center we believe that real change does not occur only by analyzing the past (feedback) but also by projecting ourselves into the future (feedforward), putting ourselves into action and evaluating the impact in order to start the cycle again.
Once the co-creation session is over and the action plan has been developed, a follow-up phase begins to evaluate the transformational impact of listening. The follow-up cycle is shown below.
- TRAINING
Here you will find some of the events we have organized to promote the culture of listening and training in it: I International Meeting “CREATING TRANSFORMATIVE SPACES for LISTENING, LEARNING, DECISION-MAKING and EXISTING.
