ACTIVITIES WITH EDUCATIONAL CENTERS

  • Workshop description: In the fast-paced world we live in, with the numerous interactions we are required to manage on a daily basis, it is understandable that our focus may become fragmented. Our attention is drawn to a multitude of distractions that impede our ability to concentrate on the present task at hand. Furthermore, the prevalence of the Internet and its accessibility on mobile devices has posed a challenge for maintaining focus. • Workshop description: In the world of work, in the professions, it is very important to master technical knowledge, be it laws, numbers, diseases and their treatment, ways to report an event, etc. But it doesn’t stop there. When we work, we live with other people (colleagues, customers, clients, students, patients), we have to know how to deal with them in different contexts (interview, sale, lunch, work meeting), we are asked to report on something or give reasons for a possible decision. All of these require knowledge that is very different from that of a degree, but at the same time are points of difference when it comes to a job interview or job success. This session helps students analyze the different skills and competencies that are most valued in today’s world of work and how to put them into practice through exercises and activities proposed throughout the workshop.

  • Workshop description:In essence, individuals with average abilities and aspirations are driven to achieve significant goals. For example, an individual may be determined to improve his or her physical fitness and join a gym. On the first day, they engage in physical activity and experience some degree of stiffness. At this point, many individuals conclude that the endeavor is not within their capabilities and should be abandoned. They perceive the task as insurmountable. They need help finding the motivation to continue their efforts. In this particular case, a gradual approach that focuses on steady progress rather than immediate results may be more beneficial. This applies to many goals in life. Rather than resorting to binge eating, it is important to cultivate a balanced approach to growth in order to achieve these goals. It is crucial to have ambitious goals, but it is equally important to learn how to achieve them. This workshop explores the various factors that influence motivation, not only in the pursuit of specific goals, but also in overcoming everyday challenges. The workshop will include practical exercises that will help participants achieve the desired results and work necessary to achieve their personal goals. In the final part of the workshop, we will examine the potential limitations that false beliefs place on our ability to trust in our own abilities when faced with challenges or everyday situations. The session will also include audiovisual content to enhance understanding of the concepts discussed, as well as real-world examples and theoretical explanations.
