Validations and Transfers**

Previous study of validations

You can request an orientative study of validations by contacting the University Orientation Department. To do this you must send the following documentation:
Plan of studies you took (stating the type of subjects and the branch/field of knowledge to which they belong) stamped by your university of origin.
Teaching guides of the subjects passed stamped by your university of origin.
Academic transcript of university studies stamped by your home university.
Please note that the validation document is NOT LEGALLY BINDING, but serves as an indicative guide. UFV reserves the right to make changes at the time of registration.

Application for recognition of studies

Once enrolled, you must officially apply for the recognition of studies in person at the registration service. If the documentation you are going to provide is a digital original or with a verification code, you must send it to registro@ufv.es from the same e-mail address you used when you enrolled. The documentation you must provide is as follows:
1. Application form for recognition of studies completed and signed by the student. You can download it here .
2. Copy of the registration receipt.
3. You must also submit the following documentation:
For other official university studies:
– Original of the official certificate stating the subjects taken and passed.
– Program or teaching guide of each subject in which the content appears (stamped by the university of origin).
Copy of the syllabus published in the BOE or syllabus stamped by the university of origin. In undergraduate studies, the subject and the branch of knowledge to which the Basic Training subjects belong must be stated.
For professional experience:
Original of the work life certificate.
Original of the signed and stamped company certificate, with the dates of professional activity and functions performed.

Original of the signed and stamped certificate from the Vocational Training Center, stating the company where the internship was carried out, as well as the activities performed.

If you have started your studies at a foreign university:

An orientative study of validations can be requested provided that less than 50% of the University degree has been completed at the home university. Please be advised that we will only evaluate the subjects you have already taken; we will not include those you are currently taking.

How to apply for an orientative study of validations?

Send us the following documentation through WeTransfer to the following e-mail address: admisioninternacional@ufv.es. This documentation must be translated (if applicable) into Spanish.

Once all the necessary documentation has been received, we will verify that it is complete and that you meet the established requirements.

We will forward you a non-binding report of validations with the subjects that could be recognized.

This report will indicate your legal access mode and provide instructions on how you can continue the admission process.

If you finally enroll at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria you must officially request the recognition of studies in person at the registration service (registro@ufv.es). You can download here the application form. All documents must be official and duly legalized as indicated in the following link . In addition, you must attach the “declaration of equivalence of average grade”, which can be obtained through the page of MEFP.

Please submit a request for a complimentary validation study.

If you are currently enrolled at UFV and wish to change your studies, you must contact the academic coordinator of the university degree program you wish to change to in order to discuss the validation process and gain access to the new program.
