ADMISSION PROCESS FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED OR ARE CURRENTLY COMPLETING NON-COMPULSORY PRE-UNIVERSITY SECONDARY EDUCATION FROM OUTSIDE SPAIN
Admission process for students who have studied or are studying non-compulsory pre-university secondary education outside Spain:
The first step to begin the admission process to study a University Degree at UFV is to complete the form at the bottom of this page.
Once you have registered, we will contact you to give you access to the Candidate Portal, from where you will have to submit the required documentation and pay the admission test fee (80€) aton the same portal.
Once the documentation and payment have been verified, we will give you an appointment for an admission interview online, or in person if you are in Madrid and you prefer.
Documentation to be uploaded to the Candidate Portal:
- Application Form duly completed which you will find at candidate portal.
Important: when you fill in the application form you must choose the university degree of your interest, this degree is a specialization. If you do not mark it, we will not be able to process your application. In this box: you can see which university degrees have their own associated degree. - Copy of your passport or Spanish DNI (you will have to scan separately each part in the case of DNI).
- Scanned passport photo.
- Academic transcript of the last 2 years of non-compulsory pre-university secondary education.
Admission:
The UFV Admissions Committee will inform you of the result by e-mail, within approximately one week from the date of the interview. If you are admitted, you will receive an email with the instructions to follow to reserve your place (quota). You have 15 days to make a decision since places are filled in strict order of reservation and depending on the time of your admission there may be few places left.
The reservation fee (quota) is independent of the tuition fee and is not deducted from any other payment. It is paid only for the first year and is returned only if you can prove that you have failed the baccalaureate or have been denied a visa. It cannot be used for another academic year (in case you decide to postpone your start at the university for the following year, you will have to go through the admission process again and re-reserve your place). This reservation guarantees you your place until the end of the enrollment deadline indicated by your advisor.
Enrollment:
Enrollment is done online through the Candidate Portal, uploading the required documentation, according to your legal access route to the university (homologation, UNED credential, partial validation of credits). The PCE is only required for international access students entering Medicine.
In order to formalize the enrollment you must have a Spanish bank account, where the payments will be domiciled.
The registration period opens in June and ends in September.
Important: The regular registration period ends in September with the beginning of the academic year, but international access students, who for bureaucratic reasons beyond their control, have an extraordinary period until October 30.
