OPEN CALL FOR ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIPS 2024-2025

Alumni Scholarships is a reserve fund for financial aid and is made up of voluntary donations from alumni and friends of the UFV. It is used every academic year to help UFV students with good academic performance who need support in paying for their studies.
- UFV students enrolled in the 2024/2025 academic year between the second and final year of any university degree and faculty of the UFV.
- Who have achieved a good academic performance in the previous academic year (2023/2024)
- Who demonstrate a need for financial support.
- Who have not obtained a grant or scholarship in the ordinary call for applications that the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria annually announces, with the exception of the considerations that, to this effect, the Scholarship Committee may consider.
- Those who, for whatever reason, have not applied for any of the UFV grants, scholarships or discounts in the ordinary period, but meet the requirements of excellence and financial need.
From October 1 to October 15, 2024, through the University Portal (section “scholarships and grants”), clicking on the “Alumni Scholarships” option and attaching the following required documentation:

- Personal Income Tax Return 2023 of the members of the family unit. In the event of not being obliged to present such declaration, a certificate of imputations will be required.
- The most recent pay slips or similar document proving monthly income.
- In case of unemployment, proof of benefit o or subsidy.
Other relevant documentation of interest (disability certificate, large family certificate, any other situation that hinders the family’s economic circumstances).
- Motivation letter Why do you want to apply for the Alumni Scholarship and what would it mean to you to receive it?
1st phase: Once the applications have been received through the university portal and processed by the Student Grants Service, candidates who meet the prerequisites will be pre-selected.
2nd phase: Pre-selected candidates will undergo a personal interview with the UFV Alumni management.
3rd phase: After the interview, the evaluation committee, composed of university staff and alumni donors, will study the final applications and propose the beneficiaries of the Alumni Scholarships 2024/2025.
- To give your image to send a photo or video of thanks to the donors.
- To participate in a meeting with donors and UFV members at the scholarship award ceremony.
- To verbally commit to contribute, once they graduate and are working, to the Alumni Scholarship project with a periodic contribution, thus helping future students in financial need.
