ANNUAL EXCELLENCE AWARD
This scholarship is awarded to students who have completed at least one full academic year at UFV and who, not being beneficiaries of other academic scholarships, demonstrate an outstanding academic record each year.
There are 18 scholarships (3 per Faculty except for the Faculty of Medicine) of 50% of the monthly fees (not including, therefore, the initial registration fee).
Application period
Single call from June 15 to June 30 , 2024 (both included).
Award criteria
To obtain them, it will be essential to pass all the subjects in ordinary exams and obtain a minimum weighted average grade of 8.5 points in dual degrees or in degrees of the Faculty of Experimental Sciences and the Polytechnic School (Architecture, Engineering…) and of 9.00 points for the rest of the degrees.
The awards will be granted in accordance with the grade achieved at the conclusion of the academic year, with consideration given to the number of credits earned with honors.
In accordance with the aforementioned criteria, the scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in a minimum of 60 credits or a complete course, as defined by university regulations.
In the event of a tie, the positive reports that the Student Aid Service may obtain from the corresponding degree or double degree departments will be taken into account.
In the event that no awards are available within a given faculty, the Student Aid Service is authorized to distribute them among students who have met the requisite criteria and are pursuing a degree or dual degree from another faculty.
The Annual Excellence Award will be granted for one academic year. To remain eligible for subsequent years, students must reapply and meet the established criteria.
Applications may be submitted from the second year to the penultimate year of the degree program. For the final year of each degree program, if applicable, you may apply for Credit for Honor or some of our discounts, provided you meet the requisite criteria.
