DEAN’S RESOLUTION SANTANDER TECHNOLOGY/CONNECTA SCHOLARSHIPS 2020/21
Dean’s Resolution dated May 31, 2022, modifying the call for applications for the “Santander Technology/Conecta Scholarships” Program for students enrolled in official undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies in the academic year 2020/2021
The Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, with the financial collaboration of Banco Santander, S.A., with CIF A-39000013, and domiciled for these purposes at calle Juan Luca de Tena 11-13, 28027 Madrid, and with e-mail becassantander@gruposantander.es, in accordance with the terms of the agreement signed between both entities, announced by Dean’s Resolution of May 5, 2021 scholarships as established in the General Terms and Conditions, bases of the Program “Becas Santander Tecnología/Conecta”.
1. Modification of section 3 of the terms and conditions approved by Dean’s Resolution of May 5, 2021.
In accordance with the provisions of section 11 of the aforementioned Dean’s Resolution, the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria proceeds to modify section 3 of the same, the content of which will be replaced in its entirety by the following:
“3. Contetnt of scholarships
a. Assignment of use for a period of 12 months of a laptop computer (Lenovo Thinkpad yoga model or similar). The beneficiaries of the grants undertake, for the duration of such assignment of use, to use the computer diligently and in accordance with its intended use, complying at all times with the prescriptions contained in the manufacturer’s manuals regarding use, conservation, revisions and repairs, the latter to be carried out in all cases by the manufacturer or by its official or authorized distributors. The equipment may not be modified or altered in any way.
In the event that the university, in accordance with the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions of Banco Santander relating to this program, acquires ownership of the computer equipment transferred, such equipment shall be awarded by the university to the beneficiaries of these grants, unless such beneficiaries have obtained other similar computer equipment on the basis of other grants awarded by the university itself.
b. Financial contribution in the amount of 350 € for connectivity support.
2. Conservation of the rest of the bases.
All the remaining sections of the Dean’s Resolution of May 5, 2021 are maintained in their entirety.
