The Centro de Innovación de Economía Circular de Madrid (CIEC) hosts from this Friday the exhibition “Sustainable municipal markets: circularizing the Vallehermoso market”, as part of the European Researchers’ Night and in the facilities of this public center located in the historic center of Vicálvaro.
The exhibition is the result of the collaboration between the Madrid City Council, the Francisco de Vitoria University (UFV) through the Extraordinary Chair of Circular Economy in the Management of Public Markets (CECiM) of Circular Markets. It can be visited until October 20 and revolves around innovations in municipal markets in terms of energy sustainability, logistics and design, and in particular in the Vallehermoso market, which has already implemented a gateway made with recycled materials and a vertical garden.
