Mission, Regulations and General Information
This section outlines the regulatory, organizational, and statutory framework of Universidad Francisco de Vitoria and the Foundation that manages it. It also details the values that inspire us, our distinguishing features, and provides general information.
Mission
Universidad Francisco de Vitoria has no foundations or dependent instrumental entities.

The institution commenced operations in the 1993-94 academic year as a center affiliated with the Complutense University of Madrid. It was subsequently fully accredited as a private university. It is currently part of an international university system that integrates higher education institutions in the United States, Mexico, Europe, and South America.
Universidad Francisco de Vitoria is a private institution of higher education and research. It is a non-profit entity registered in the Registry of Foundations under number 219.
The Universidad Francisco de Vitoria University Foundation (formerly known as the FIDES Foundation) provides the public service of higher education. It offers a comprehensive training model to its students in accordance with the requirements set out in its Law of Recognition (Law 7/2001, of July 3, of the Community of Madrid) and its statutes (Rules of Organization and Operation approved by Decree 11/2014 of September 25 (Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid of September 29, 2014).
