Maite Morales Trueba
Digital Director of L'Oreal Spain.

Degree in Telecommunications from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Master in Engineering (M.ENG) Advanced Marketing Strategy Executive Program at ESADE and Executive International Digital Business Seminar at Harvard. She started her career in the R&D sector of bioengineering and telemedicine, in the laboratory of the Clinic of Puerta de Hierro. She then moved to the telecommunications industry, where she held various positions. Now she leads initiatives for entrepreneurship and digital integration in the company. She is responsible for L’Oréal’s evolution into a data-driven marketing company. She is also a mentor for L’Oréal Spain in the Stem Talent Girl program, as part of the global initiative “For Women in Science”.

Studied electrical engineering at the Universidad Simón Bolívar. MBA from Procter & Gamble and Kellogg’s. She has worked at McKinsey Chicago, Diageo, L’Oreal (as Franchise Business Unit Manager) and is now Director of Partner Ecosystem Strategy at Microsoft.

He holds a first class degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya and the École Centrale Paris, an MBA from Harvard Business School and a postgraduate degree in Finance from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Prior to joining the Santander Group, he worked at BCG, providing services in the areas of Operations and Operating Model and Digital. He has worked in North America, Latin America, Europe and Israel.

Telecommunications Engineer from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, with a Postgraduate Master in Data Communication Architectures. With almost 25 years of experience in the IT sector, she has held various technical and management positions at national and international level, such as European CTO for the Telco, Media and Utilities sector and CTO of the Services division. She is currently Technical Director of IBM Spain, Portugal, Greece and Israel and a member of the Management Committee. She is a Distinguished Engineer, a title awarded by IBM worldwide in recognition of exceptional technical contributions to the company and to society. She has served as president of the IBM Academy of Technology in Spain and is currently a member of the IBM Technical Experts Council. She is a regular speaker at universities and business forums.

An engineer with a Ph.D., she has been a professor at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid since 1985, where she has also been Vice Rector. She has been General Director of Universities and Higher Artistic Education of the Community of Madrid, Director of the Women and Engineering Project of the Royal Academy of Engineering, where she is also Managing Director. Member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Gadea Foundation for Science in the field of knowledge of engineering and technology. Women and Technology Orange Foundation Award, an award that rewards women who stand out for their work in the fields of technology and social innovation, and whose results are a benchmark in the development and transformation of society, improving the quality of life of people.
