SUPPORT FOR EVALUATION: ACCREDITATION AND SIX-YEAR PERIOD
The library provides a support service to professors and researchers to assist with the evaluation of research results in accreditation and six-year period calls. This service is available in the following areas:
- Search for impact factors of publications
- Search for citations received in scientific articles, books and book chapters.
- Search for indications of editorial quality of scientific publications
- Training on how to locate the indications of quality of your publications
The scientific evaluation process is subject to different criteria depending on whether our publications are books, scientific articles, or other forms of media.

- Resolution of November 19, 2012, of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity, establishing the specific criteria in each of the evaluation fields.
- Resolution 11/11/12 for the evaluation of books and book chapters.
- Study published in the Spanish Journal of Scientific Documentation on the evolution of Spanish Social Science journals in the Journal Citation Reports between 2006-2010 and their evaluation as an indication of quality in the Spanish evaluation regulations.
