UNIVERSIDAD FRANCISCO DE VITORIA
In 1993, Universidad Francisco de Vitoria was established with an initial enrollment of 378 students across four degree programs. The students were present for the inaugural stages of a university that, from its inception, placed the individual at the core of its mission. The institution aims to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge to drive positive change in their own lives and in the communities in which they live, work, and serve.
Today, nearly three decades later, UFV has two university campuses in Madrid: the campus and the headquarters of the School of Engineering at MSI. Additionally, the institution offers over 50 degree programs, including double degrees, higher education cycles, graduate school, doctoral programs, and research centers. Additionally, it is a member of an international network of educational institutions in Europe, the United States, Mexico, and South America.
Over 40,000 students have completed their studies at UFV. They are our inaugural ambassadors, having had the opportunity to experience firsthand the unique qualities of the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.
MISSION
All educational activities, whether intentional or not, are driven by two fundamental questions: the rationale behind our actions and the objective we aim to achieve. Furthermore, it is always based on an understanding of the individual’s identity and their unique calling.
The Universidad Francisco de Vitoria was established with the belief that a university should offer more than just professional training or preparation for work. From a scientific standpoint, it is believed that the university is also “something more” than scientific rigour. It is regarded as a center of higher education. In other words, it is a place where, in the context of the culture of immediacy, fundamental questions are posed that assist the members of its community (students, faculty, and administrative and support personnel) in understanding themselves and the world in which they live. The UFV was established with the mission of serving as a guiding light, providing direction and meaning in today’s complex environment.
Our institution is a Catholic university. This implies that our educational proposal is based on the conviction that truth can be sought, known, and shared; that human beings are capable of knowing the truth and, through their reflection and action, of improving the world; and therefore we recognize the intrinsic dignity of each human being, who is in turn open to the task of enriching and promoting the common good through their work and their way of life committed to the challenges of their society and the world.

Full University Life
The true educational experience extends beyond the classroom. We are dedicated to fostering a dynamic university environment where students and faculty from diverse grade levels and backgrounds can engage in ongoing dialog, fostering a culture of mutual respect and intellectual exchange.
We consider the campus to be a fundamental tool of the university experience. It is a unique space with its own set of rules, akin to a city within a larger urban environment, where fifteen thousand individuals of similar age groups and interests reside together on a daily basis. It is a place where individuals from diverse academic backgrounds interact, sharing facilities for sporting activities or dining. They also have the option of changing their environment to attend an activity that complements their degree, such as participating in a music group, theater group, or volunteer group. The campus fosters an environment of interaction and community, and is readily accessible to our students, who are encouraged to engage in a wide range of activities.

UNSTOPPABLE GROWTH
Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, which was established in 1993 with a mission to transform higher education, has become the fastest-growing private university in Spain over the past fifteen years.
Today, students have the opportunity to pursue one of more than 50 degrees and double degrees across nine faculties and schools, allowing them to develop their talents including: Communication, Law and Business, Health, Higher Polytechnic, Education and Psychology, Experimental Sciences, Medicine, Postgraduate and International Graduate School.
