LANGUAGES ABROAD
UFV students who carry out an international residency period for study purposes during a semester or academic year also have the opportunity to accumulate ECTS in the Complementary Training Activities course. Here are the details of the process:
What do I have to do?
- Undertake an international residency period during the academic year 2024-2025 in a partner university.
- Take a foreign language course through the host university, either as a subject or through its language center (other types of centers are not valid).
- To evaluate the activity you must submit an essay about your experience during your stay abroad: cultural impact, cultural meeting/disencounter points, improvement of employability, etc. This essay can be in written format (maximum 500 words) or audiovisual format (minimum 1 minute – maximum 3 minutes).
How do I prove that I have taken this course?
- You must undertake an international residency period during the academic year 2024-2025 in a partner university.
How do I sign up?
- Through the Virtual Classroom of Complementary Training Activities by filling out the registration form in the activity.
How many ECTS do I get?
- A maximum of 3 ECTS.
How long do I have to sign up?
- You can sign up until November, 29, 2024.
Do I have to be enrolled in the subject?
- It is not necessary. The ECTS generated will be attached to your transcript. In those cases in which the subject has been enrolled, it should not be included in the study commitment or, if it is included, it should be stated as “non-transferable”.
- Remember that if you have not accumulated the credits of Complementary Training Activities you will not be able to complete your transcript and finish the End of Degree Project
