Completion of a 20-page reflection paper written at the end of their bilateral exchange or Erasmus stay, both study and internship.

In the reflection paper, the student should talk about details of his/her academic, personal and social life: the host university, the contents of the subjects, the relationship with students and professors at the destination, the search for accommodation, social life, the employment opportunities at the destination, the relationship and work done with the UFV faculty itself and the International Relations Office before, during and after their exchange, culture shock, emotional peaks, learnings…

In this course we will also pose a background question to accompany the student during their exchange: “What remains in me despite being far from my roots?”. In the conclusion, the student will have to express if the exchange was worthwhile or not and why.
