The Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, through the Vice-rectorate for Faculty and Training Model, is committed to fostering innovation and continuous improvement in teaching and learning. To this end, the university issues an annual call for teaching innovations. The primary objective is to provide support to the university community in its efforts to enhance teaching and student learning. The call for proposals welcomes any initiative that aims to enhance the teaching-learning process and optimize teaching resources and methodologies. Projects must demonstrate a clear path to success in developing students’ competencies and be aligned with the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
Furthermore, the Innovation Institute introduces new educational practices to enhance the teaching-learning process and introduces new teaching methodologies that are not or have not been created by University faculty, in alignment with the UFV educational model.

OUR MISSION
- To be an active part of the educational transformation positioning UFV as a reference in innovation
- To make UFV educational innovation visible and generate environments for reflection to promote a culture of constant evaluation and analysis, that allows us to improve and advance
- Accompany the UFV community in the design and development of innovation projects
- Explore trends technological and methodological trends that facilitate teaching and promote the learning process
- Awaken the curiosity in teachers for other ways of doing
- Weave a network of contacts and educational references, internal and external to the UFV, with whom to create community
- Make available of teachers and other UFV departments our platforms for creation and dissemination (web / blog / rrss)
- Be close of the UFV educational community to meet their needs, and help them find effective and efficient solutions
- Support, encourage and facilitate research and the actions that are launched from other units and departments
- Give official value certifying the innovation of the UFV community
