UFV MUSIC GROUP
The second edition of the university band festival – organized by the universities CEU San Pablo, Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, Universidad de Salamanca, Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio, Universidad Europea and Fundación Ángel Herrera Oria in the best concert halls of Madrid – has already started.

UFV CONCERT

October 25, 12 noon, outside U-Shop.
Talen’t is a rock band that was born as a group of friends in the music society of the UFV. They share a taste for music but, above all, a clear idea: rock is a tool to unite people and start a revolution against the customs of society.
It is made up of Maravillas Catalán (Pharmacy), David Luna (Videogames), Irene Poves (Biomedical Engineering), Francisca Ortolá (Psychology), Oscar Ten (Architecture) and Alfonso Tena (Biotechnology). Jaime Fernández (Journalism + Audiovisual Communication) will also participate.
The concert will be on October 25 at 12 noon at U-Shop. Do not miss it.
UNIVERSIFEST
Together with the universities Alfonso X El Sabio, CEU San Pablo and Comillas we organize a festival of university bands at Sala Clamores. It will be held every Tuesday in February until March 14, 2023. More info: https://universifest.es/
Do you want to be part of a philharmonic orchestra?
The Proarte Philharmonic Orchestra, in collaboration with our university, invites all our students, faculty and staff of Administration and Services who play an instrument, to join their concert program. You can play, for example, in the next performance they have scheduled at the National Auditorium on December 9, for the benefit of the Dádoris Foundation.
Rehearsals begin on Sunday, October 9 in the Pecera of the H building (except on October 30, due to the long weekend). The repertoire is impressive: Overture from The Magic Flute, W.A. Mozart; Travelers’ Chorus from Idomeneo, W.A. Mozart; Overture from The Barber of Seville; Va Pensiero from Nabucco; the Gypsy Chorus from Il Trovatore; Suite from Carmen no. 1, Bizet; The Master Singers of Nuremberg, Wagner; Pilgrims’ Choir; Casta diva from Norma; Nesum dorma from Turandot and the Toast from La Traviata to finish.
