Image, truth and beauty research group
The present research group’s objective is to analyze still and moving images to become connoisseurs of the truth in form and substance within the audiovisual reality. At a pivotal point in the advancement of this technology, where breakthroughs in areas such as artificial intelligence are occurring at a rapid pace, this group is seeking to identify the actual location of these developments, their potential applications in the field of education, and the underlying truth that lies at the core of it all.
Main lines of research: Expression, meaning and adaptation of the image to new media. Manipulation and truth in the image; Truth in cinema, fiction and photography and applications in the teaching area.
