Internationalization is a key focus area for our School of Medicine and for UFV in general.
Today’s healthcare professionals must consider the potential for excellent job prospects when evaluating the benefits of international programs. These programs play a pivotal role in comprehensive training during the degree program, while also establishing a network that will undoubtedly influence our professional performance and continuing education opportunities in the workplace.
The Universidad Francisco De Vitoria is accredited in the World Directory of Medical Schools (World Directory of Medical Schools, 2012). Additionally, the institution is certified by the ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) for access to clinical rotations programs in the USA. Furthermore, it has been admitted to the ERAS System (Electronic Residency Application Service) within the ECFMG , to apply for access to specialization in the USA.
The UFV’s Medical Degree program has developed an extensive international program, including both European and global rotations. These are summarized in the attached information as “Erasmus+ Programmes” and “International Elective Exchanges.”

UFV STUDENT PROGRAMS
- OUTGOING
Students enrolled at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria who wish to undertake an international stay can choose between the ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME, for destinations in Europe, or INTERNATIONAL ELECTIVE EXCHANGES, for non-European destinations. International students interested in pursuing an international stay at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria have the option of selecting the following program: ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME, or the program CLINICAL ROTATIONS (Non Erasmus).
