DO YOU NEED AN OFFICIAL ENGLISH CERTIFICATION?

We are pleased to announce that the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria has entered into a partnership with the renowned Cambridge Assessment English, part of the University of Cambridge. This collaboration will enable us to administer the new test for official English certification at Linguaskill.

What is Linguaskill?

This is an official multilevel test comprising online modules. All candidates will take the same exam, which will be tailored to their level using the latest AI technology. This allows them to obtain a certification reflecting their current level of English. This test is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and can be used to accredit several levels within that framework.

How to get to the University

Why do I need it?

To officially recognize and certify your level of English proficiency.

This certification can be presented as a qualification for employment, scholarship applications, Erasmus placements, and as a supplement to a university degree.

What is the exam like?

The test consists of four parts: Reading and Listening (combined), Writing and Speaking.

It will take 2.5 hours to complete all four parts.

Sample exam papers are available on the official Cambridge English website and preparatory courses are available at the University’s Language Department.

What happens if I fail one of the parts?

In the event of an unsuccessful attempt at any part of the examination, Cambridge English will retain the results of the parts you passed for a period of three months. During this time, you may retake the part you did not pass.

When are the exams?

Calls will be scheduled throughout the academic year, contingent upon participant interest. Please be advised that the new dates for the 22/23 academic year will be from September 11.

When will I get the results?

In just 72 hours.
