DIPLOMA IN INCLUSIVE DIVERSITY SUPPORT
PERSON-CENTERED
PRESENTATION
Supporting students with different needs at school has been one of the main challenges of the educational system in recent years. This support has evolved over time and has led to the emergence of a new paradigm governed by inclusive education.
This reality makes it necessary for graduates in education to have the training that makes them capable to offer all students the support they require, in coordination with the rest of the professionals involved and with their families. For this purpose they must be aware of the transformative potential of their work, and of the importance of their work as trainers, support teachers, counselors for teachers, families and children, of their commitment to others, and to constant improvement.
TESTIMONIALS
“I want to highlight the professionalism of the teachers who taught the course, their approachability and availability, the enthusiasm and desire to do a good job and their different experiences that have awakened in me the desire to commit to inclusive education and have encouraged me to fight for it. I am very proud to know that at my university we can receive this privileged training, I hope that the following years this course will continue to be taught.” – Juan José García Rodríguez.
“This training not only helps teachers who are going to work as pedagogical therapists, but it also helps all those who, without working as a special needs teacher, will have students with special educational needs in their classrooms. Having this training, and this vision of the person and the disability gives you a lot of courage and security as a teacher, since facing any difficulty in your classroom without having any idea of how to deal with it is, as well as being dangerous, because you can do much harm to children, quite complicated.” ” – Lorena Lobato.
“It is a course oriented to professionals and future professionals focused on the personal follow-up of each one, as a continuation of the degree studies. Focused on the person as a professional and on the student. This is what I have admired most about the course. I feel proud to have completed it.” – Ana María Ares.
“For me, the Expert Course opened up a wide range of training and work opportunities. It exceeded all my expectations and now, I can’t imagine a better way to finish my Primary Education Degree” – María Rodríguez.
“For me, the Expert Degree has been very rewarding both professionally and personally. From my point of view, I think that everyone who loves this profession should do this own degree after their undergraduate degree, as you expand your knowledge. It is an excellent degree and it has been a pleasure to meet this type of teachers who have been able to instill in us all their professionalism” – María José Sánchez
