First Meeting of the ‘Ambassadors of Character’ at Highlands El Encinar School

Last Wednesday, 3rd July, Nicole Haddad and Verónica Fernández conducted the initial training session with the ‘Ambassadors of Character’ at Highlands El Encinar School. This group of school teachers is set to lead a profound transformation in their institution, aspiring to turn it into an authentic ‘School of Character’.

This first meeting had three main objectives: (1) To get to know each other and strengthen bonds: to foster cohesion among the ambassadors. (2) To define their role: to clarify the responsibilities and expectations of the Ambassadors of Character. (3) To set concrete goals: to establish specific and achievable objectives to drive character education in the school through our 360º approach: seeing character, thinking/teaching character, acting character, and teacher wellbeing and leadership.

The day included not only theoretical training but also group activities and an inspiring visit to the chapel of UFV Sede Sapientia. This experience was extremely enriching, allowing participants to advance in the ‘Protagonist Teachers’ programme and strengthen their commitment and cohesion as Ambassadors of Character.
