Artificial Intelligence and Phronesis

On the 30th and 31st of May, we had the privilege of hosting Professor Liz Gulliford from the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues at the University of Birmingham at the University Francisco de Vitoria. She was invited by the Centre for Virtues and Values (CEV) to provide training for teachers and psychologists on topics such as the relationship between Artificial Intelligence and Phronesis, as well as to discuss the virtue of gratitude from a psychological perspective.

Additionally, some UFV students had the opportunity to have breakfast with Liz, leading to an engaging dialogue where students could learn more about our guest’s professional journey and her interest in gratitude. This meeting offered a unique chance to connect and understand the psychological benefits of being virtuous and grateful.

Throughout her visit, Liz shared her extensive experience and insights on virtues and character education. We are delighted to have had her visit and are grateful to Liz for her dedication and generosity.
