Every year we organize an intercultural training workshop with theater as a tool. The objective is that UFV students can acquire a series of international competencies in preparation for an increasingly globalized world. All of this, in a relaxed and creative environment such as that generated by the theater.  

1.  Students who will go on an Erasmus+ or bilateral exchange next year.   
2.  Students interested in participating in host programs and/or international peer mentoring (e.g. Buddy Program).   
3.  Students seeking to experientially deepen their understanding of cross-cultural communication. 

Exercises are carried out to develop intercultural awareness, sensitivity and skills in preparation for encounters with people from other cultures, whether in the UFV classroom, during an Erasmus+ or bilateral exchange stay or in the working world. 

– Contents: acting interpretation exercises and a subsequent field work and reflection.   

– Skills: listening, openness, respect, communication for encounter, understanding of the values of one’s own culture and of other cultures.   

– Learning outcomes: the student is more aware of the intercultural world in which he/she lives and has acquired some tools to generate relationships of encounter with people from another culture. 

The workshop lasts 4 hours, with a 15-minute break.

This workshop will award 0.25 ECTS to those students who are taking the course Complementary Training Activities.
