VICE-RECTORATE OF INTERNATIONALIZATION
INTERNATIONALISATION STRATEGIES
The Francisco de Vitoria University has implemented its Strategic Plan 2018-23 with the goal of building a faculty of professors and researchers with an international profile and offering students an international educational experience allowing , them to participate in the globalised world they are called upon to transform.
Vision 2023 states:
“To go from being a university with incipient internationalisation to becoming an international university by 2023”
Materialised in four crucial aspects related to the Mission:
To be an international university of scientific excellence, transdisciplinary and transformative, in undergraduate and post graduate studies, with teachers and methodologies which are a reference in person-centred science
To be a university engaged in the most influential knowledge networks in the service of the truth and good
To work with other universities to achieve a synthesis in transformative knowledge for society
To be committed to preparing students for the global world they live in, promoting curricular and extracurricular international experiences in all its degree programs
The operative deployment of the strategic plan is based on three priority projects:
- 1.Comprehensive Mobility Plan
- 2. Development of a Functional Coordination Model for Internationalisation, and
- 3.Development of a Language Policy which establishes standards of language ability for faculty in order to foment mobility of both students and teachers
